All-Rounder Course
Gain a good understanding of all the main pottery techniques including hand-building and throwing. The couse will be structured to provide you with good foundations and leave plenty of space for exploring and developing your own creations.
The structure and flow of the course will be in part guided by the students, which will be a maximum of 8. As a rough guide of what to expect, we will aim to cover:
Week 1 - Pinch pots
Week 2 - Coiling and slab building
Week 3 - Introduction to throwing
Week 4 - Trimming and throwing practice
Week 5 - Throwing bowls
Week 6 - 7 - Practice! Guided by the teacher, you will get a chance to progress with whatever technique you liked the most. You can also work on a project, or as your teacher to walk you through anything specifc.
Week 8 - Glazing. Finish off your piece in any of our lovely studio glazes.
