8-Week All-Rounder
Sundays 11am - 2pm
Over eight weeks we’ll cover the essentials of working with clay — from hand-building and wheel-throwing to glazing. Each session builds on the last, giving you the chance to experiment and practice.
What we will cover
Hand building
We will cover a range of hand-building techniques including pinch-pots, coiling, slab making and anything else you are eager to learn.
Surface design
Your teacher will introduce you to a range of surface design techniques, guiding your creativity and introducing other artists’ work to help inspire you.
Throwing
We will cover the fundamentals of throwing, giving you plenty of room to practice and the option to progress to more advanced techniques depending on your level.
